The Apple Wallet and Payments Service in Japan is seeking an Intern to help enable the growth and expansion of our services in Japanese market. Within this role, you will work with cross functional teams such as business development, marketing, technical program management, and business operations of Apple Wallet and Payments Service, as well as external parties such as banks, credit card issuers, fintech, retailers, eCommerce merchants, payment network, payment service providers and customer. KEY QUALIFICATIONS - Be currently and during time of internship, enrolled in degree level education. MBA is a plus - Strong interest in Apple business & culture and the customer experience - Exceptional communication skill in Japanese & English - Naturally curious and comfortable with ambiguity - Excellent understanding of the principles of business development, sales, marketing and product development - Strategic thinking to identify and prioritize key levers to drive business - Ability to identify customer pain points and needs, and prioritize key product features and communication to address them - Ability to persuade and engage with partners - Strong interest/passion in digital financial services and products. eCommerce experience is a plus - Strong analytical and communication skills - Self-motivated, Driven, with a high level of integrity and sense of urgency to “make things happen” in a fast-paced environment - Able to commute to our Tokyo, Roppongi Hills office DESCRIPTION Interns don’t just learn on the job at Apple.
