This People Operations Manager role offers the opportunity to lead and shape HR practices across our diverse and rapidly growing organization. You'll build comprehensive people programs while leading a dedicated team that supports the international talent of our core product R&D group and global support teams. The position will give you the opportunity to develop innovative HR initiatives, drive cultural and organizational development, and partner with leaders across our group companies in a dynamic, bilingual environment. Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the People Operations team, ensuring delivery of high-quality services to managers and employees across the organization
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes
  • Design and implement policies, procedures, and programs to support organizational effectiveness and compliance
  • Partner with team leaders to address employee relations matters and provide guidance on management practices
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on employer branding, onboarding processes, and performance analytics to continuously improve hiring quality and retention
  • Partner with People Operations teams in our Japan subsidiary and other group companies on complementary programs and initiatives
  • Design and implement initiatives to foster positive workplace culture and cross-cultural communication
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and measure their effectiveness
  • Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees
  • Support organizational development efforts including succession planning and career development frameworks
  • Lead bi-annual performance review and compensation review processes
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable practices
  • Manage immigration processes and documentation for international employees
  • Manage people data and systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with policies, labor laws and regulations
  • Manage HR-related budgets and vendor relationships


  • Requirements
  • 7+ years of HR / People Operations experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Track record of success developing and implementing HR programs and policies
  • Experience managing employee relations in a multicultural environment
  • Demonstrated success in training and organizational development initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese labor practices and employment regulations
  • Proficiency with HRIS, HR analytics, and related software tools
  • Excellent organizational and administrative process management skills
  • Business-level fluency in English and Japanese (both written and verbal)


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in technology or fast-growth companies
  • Background in change management and organizational development
  • Familiarity with non-Japanese labor practices (US, EU, etc.)
  • Professional HR certifications (衛生管理者、社会保険労務士、など)

    8:45 - 17:45 (with a 60-minute break)
