The Team

Your Job

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of our data products. If you are passionate about data accuracy, enjoy finding edge cases, and have a strong grasp of automated testing in complex data environments, we’d love to hear from you.

• Test planning, design, execution, management, and bug reporting for our data and LLM pipelines


• Validate that our outputs align precisely with actual company and person metadata


• Design and implement automated data quality checks, including simulation of edge cases across ingestion, transformation, and output layers


• Design, implementation, and maintenance of various tests (API, E2E, regression)


• Improvement tasks related to the entire development process, assuming an Agile environment


• Improve data quality outputs for LLM-powered systems for hallucination mitigation

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in development or QA at a business company


• Experience testing applications that use databases


• Knowledge and experience in software testing


• Knowledge of ETL pipelines


• Fluent to native Japanese and business level English

Nice to Have

• Experience in development or QA in LLM applications


• Knowledge of data governance and data integrity


• Experience in E2E test development using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium


• Experience in setting up test environments and knowledge of CI/CD


• QA experience for services developed with microservices architecture


• Knowledge and experience in process improvement within projects


• QA experience in the sales industry or SaaS products
