Rapyuta Robotics, an ETH Zurich spin-off, operates with the goal of making robots more accessible to anyone in the logistics industry. Based in Tokyo, you will help drive the ASRS product lifecycle, supporting innovation across our solution. You will work closely with Business Owners, Solution Management, Engineering, Operations, and Partners to translate market, regulatory, and technical insights into a compelling global feature vision.
【Key Responsibilities】
●Define and execute the ASRS feature roadmap
— Collaborate with the Solution Manager, Sales, and Consulting teams to shape customer-facing features. Align product direction with market demand and customer requirements by translating insights into prioritized features with clear business outcomes, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
●Bridge Operations and Product Development
—Work closely with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and Application Support Engineers to define operational features to ensure availability, adaptability, and maintainability across diverse customer use cases.
●Drive market and regulatory research
—analyze customer needs and competitive gaps across North America, APAC, and Europe; synthesize fire, safety, and seismic requirements into actionable feature specifications in partnership with compliance specialists and external agencies.
●Specify technical integration requirements and coordinate partner engagements
—define interfaces for scanners, label printers, and robotic arms; evaluate build-vs-buy trade-offs; and oversee integration proof-of-concepts to ensure delivery quality while minimizing development effort.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or engineering management—preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial systems
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to synthesize complex requirements into clear product specifications
