Rapyuta Robotics is an ETH Zurich startup headquartered in Tokyo and operates with a vision to become the global leader in making robots more accessible. We lead the pick-assist AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) market in Japan and are backed by Goldman Sachs, Sony and Yaskawa as investors.
This role would primarily handle contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), leasing agreements, client communication, insurance handling, and query resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate and finalize contracts, NDAs, and leasing agreements.
- Communicate with clients, address their concerns, and resolve queries.
- Handle all insurance-related tasks including claims management, renewals, and liaison with insurance providers.
- Provide administrative support to the team and help in improving the existing processes.
- Coordinate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all contracts and agreements.
- Stay updated with the changes in laws and regulations that might affect the company.
- [Necessary] Overlap of 4 hours with Chicago time zone is required on daily basis to handle discussions with the US team [working time in India for evening slot - (6.30pm - 10.30 pm IST)
Requirements
Skills:
- Strong understanding of contract laws, leasing agreements, insurance policies, and NDAs.
- 5-7 years of Experience with the US legal system, US business environment, and handling US clients is mandatory.
- Ability in English - strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Qualification:
- A candidate with a law degree (LLB) or a master's degree in law (LLM) is a must.
- The candidate should ideally have a specialization or experience in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Business Law.
- A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field would be ideal or prior experience in a similar role would be preferred.
Preference will be given:
- Equivalent LLB or LLM degree from US accredited universities
- Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Business Law from accredited US universities will be given preference
