Role and Responsibilities 

This position is part of the People Operations team and will play a broad role in executing our People Operations tasks. The successful candidate has a positive mindset to support all employees and great communication skills. Also, it’s essential to be flexible and able to adapt and execute multiple tasks even in the uncertain environment of a startup. 

People Operations

  • Daily office operations 
  • Vendor management  
  • Responding to inquiries and requests from employees 
  • Policy creation and amendments  
  • Executing employee’s onboarding preparation and the sessions 
  • Employee data base creation and amending/modifying where applicable 
  • Data governance activity with respect to details capture in CRM   
  • Salary and finance related input where applicable  
  • Planning and organizing company-wide meetings and events  
  • Other tasks related to People Operations 
  • Working with other stakeholders to improve employee engagement and work environment 
  • Employee offboarding tasks 
  • Helping with the recruiting team 

Talent acquisition

  • Collaborate with vendors, agents and internal stakeholders to acquire mainly engineering talents for India 
  • Collaborate with vendors, agents and internal stakeholders to acquire talents for the US and Japan. (English speakers only)  
  • Improve recruiting processes / plan and implement new recruiting methods  
  • Communicate with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders regarding recruitment 
  • Execution and management of content for recruitment-related media 
  • Internal communication such as promotion of referral program 
  • Planning and execution of other recruitment programs (campus hiring, events, seminars, etc.)  

Requirements

    • 2~7 years of HR related work experience or administration related experience  
    • Strong communication skills 
    • Attention to detail and strong task management skills 
    • Ability to be proactive, flexible, and work through uncertain environments  
    • Ability to negotiate with internal and external parties
