Enactic is a deeptech startup on a mission to ship assistive humanoid robots that enhance our independence and quality of life in a world facing critical labor shortages, due to aging demographics.
Responsibilities
As our Technical Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects connecting hardware, software, AI, manufacturing, and business, to drive execution.

・Project management: Set milestones, manage critical paths, ship robots to the field
・Technical coordination: Partner with engineering leads, review decisions, prioritize challenges
・Risk & quality management: Lead risk assessments, root cause analysis, preventive actions
・Stakeholder alignment: Serve as communication hub between departments, customers, and partners
・Customer discovery: Spend time in care facilities conducting interviews and observations, feed insights to teams
Requirements
・Experience leading complex product development through product launch in robotics, automotive, consumer electronics, or similar industries
・Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and manufacturing processes
・Leadership and facilitation skills to align stakeholders and drive decisions
・Strong English proficiency to lead technical discussions, reviews, and global collaboration
・Strong engineering background in one or more robotics/AI stacks
Bonus Qualifications
・Deep understanding of robotics fundamentals and technical architecture
・Deep knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing quality frameworks
・Ability to make tradeoffs between technical and business requirements
・Business-level Japanese proficiency (or strong commitment to achieving fluency and understanding of Japanese culture and demographics)
