MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
・Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree with an expected graduation through to the end of March 2027
※Must be in school until the end of internship program
・Must be available for a 3-month on-site internship in 2025
・Have no more than 24 months of professional full-time work experience in the technology field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience)
・Overseas Students (Based outside of Japan) who require visa support must meet one of the following requirements:
  ・The internship program is part of your education and essential for your graduation
  ・This internship allows you to receive some credit(s) for your education program
  ・Have Bachelor degree at the time of application

WORKING CONDITIONS
・Start Date: June 1, 2025, August 1, 2025
・Internship Duration: 3 months
・Expected work hours: 5 days (40 hours/week), depending on visa and class scheduling, some flexibility for shorter hours may be available
・Salary Type: Hourly wage
・Work Location: Nihombashi (Head office)
・Others:
  ・The program is expected to be onsite
  ・Overseas Students (Based outside of Japan): Air tickets, visa support, and temporary housing will be provided
  ・Local Students (Outside of Tokyo): Temporarily housing will be provided

Teammate Driving team's mission is to realize stable lane keeping systems as an automated driving product by using information from the sensors and map information to recognize and judge the surrounding situation and control the vehicle appropriately. Our ultimate goal is to provide a new lifestyle that our customer had never experienced before through our automated driving.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As Motion Planning Engineer, you have a technical experience in at least one area below:
・Path planning
・Motion estimation and dead reckoning
・Vehicle motion control
The experiences to implement those technologies into real applications such as ADAS systems, robotics as well as automated driving are very welcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate in cross-functional activities to realize a safer and more secure automated driving system or driving assistance system
  • Develop the key function in automated driving of keeping the vehicle in the lane
  • Complete the advanced development to the production level such as improving the code quality
  • Generates high quality trajectory of the vehicle using map information and surrounding information from various sensors such as cameras
  • Evaluate sufficiently using simulations and vehicles
  • Constantly review our development and continue to improve it
  • Produce high quality software including tests and code reviews for productization

  • 車両を車線内に維持するという自動運転の重要な機能を開発します

  • シミュレーションおよび実車を用いて十分な評価を行います
  • 開発プロセスを常に見直し、継続的な改善を進めます
  • 製品化に向けて、テストやコードレビューを含む高品質なソフトウェアを作成します


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Computer science, Mechanical engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience in Path Planning, Vehicle Control or ADAS System
  • Strong experience in C/C++ and familiarity with Python or other programming languages
  • Working proficiency in English

  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience in the simulator operation and/or development for image recognition, sensor fusion or physical behavior
  • Knowledge of embedded software implementation
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics
  • Knowledge of control engineering (PID, LQR, MPC, etc.)
  • Experience in utilization of map information
