MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
・Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree with an expected graduation through to the end of March 2027
※Must be in school until the end of internship program
・Must be available for a 3-month on-site internship in 2025
・Have no more than 24 months of professional full-time work experience in the technology field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience)
・Overseas Students (Based outside of Japan) who require visa support must meet one of the following requirements:
・The internship program is part of your education and essential for your graduation
・This internship allows you to receive some credit(s) for your education program
・Have Bachelor degree at the time of application
WORKING CONDITIONS
・Start Date: June 1, 2025, August 1, 2025
・Internship Duration: 3 months
・Expected work hours: 5 days (40 hours/week), depending on visa and class scheduling, some flexibility for shorter hours may be available
・Salary Type: Hourly wage
・Work Location: Nihombashi (Head office)
・Others:
・The program is expected to be onsite
・Overseas Students (Based outside of Japan): Air tickets, visa support, and temporary housing will be provided
・Local Students (Outside of Tokyo): Temporarily housing will be provided

TEAM
Enterprise AI provides a seamless end-to-end machine learning tooling experience, catering to and expediting the development of machine learning projects, such as autonomous driving, smart city, and others. Our platform enables ML Engineers throughout the development lifecycle by providing features related to dataset management, annotation and labeling, training, and inference.
Our teams consist of cross functional software engineers who work together to develop a self service machine learning platform using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Go, Python and React.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will be part of the team responsible for developing and maintaining the AI/ML platform which serves customers both internally at Woven by Toyota and externally in the larger Toyota Group. Our platform covers the full AI lifecycle: data annotation and labeling, training, and inference. We enable the development and deployment of applications related to automated driving and smart City / robotics.
You will have an interest in learning new technologies especially in machine learning and software development and have a collaborative mindset to build things together as a team.
You will report to the team lead / manager of one of our scrum teams, and this role is onsite / in-office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
・Design, develop and deploy user facing features for our platform
・Operate as part of one of our agile teams and participate in team discussions
・Work closely with our stakeholders (product, project management, and others) to drive the success of your work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
・Pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field
・Experience in one or more of the following technology areas:
・Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
・Microservice development (Go/Python, REST, etc.)
・Frontend development (React/Typescript, etc.)
・Experience with or knowledge of machine learning and MLOps
・Knowledge of software development best practices (ex. code review, coding standards, etc.)
・Business-level proficiency in English
NICE TO HAVES
・Experience in production focused environments
・Interest in automotive environments
・Proficiency in Japanese
