TEAM
The Global Quality Assurance (GQA) team, part of the Product Quality department, ensures the quality of software for safe mobility services across Woven by Toyota, Toyota Motor Corporation, and affiliates. Our mission is to deliver safe, secure, high-quality software, contributing to Toyota's evolution as a software-driven carmaker.
The GQA team sets audit and assessment standards, develops audit plans, and conducts assessments. Join our team of professionals committed to software safety and quality in the automotive industry.
You will report to the head of the Process Management (PM) team within GQA and follow a hybrid schedule with 3+ days in the office.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The embedded software development is undergoing significant changes with the rapid development and widespread adoption of AI,, and this trend will only intensify in the future. The Arene platform that we are developing combines Toyota’s decades of manufacturing expertise with modern software capabilities. Establish tool qualification program for modern tools including the Arene and AI development, enable the development of integrated, software-driven experiences, all with the quality and efficiency that is synonymous with Toyota, helping create ever-better cars that grow together with their customers and move the world closer to a zero-accident future.
We are looking for exceptional candidates for tool expert roles dedicated to developing quality measures for modern embedded software, which has a main focus on the SDV software development kit and software verification and validation tools. You will help establish quality-related organizational processes and environments that support the software development kit and tool chain, including audits and assessments.
Rather than only prioritizing experience in system or software development, we are also looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and motivated to build processes based on the latest technological trends, ensuring that our Arene platform maintains a strong focus on quality to meet the customer's requirements.
Therefore, we need an engineer who
・Adapt and derive optimal solutions by considering diverse perspectives
・Effectively negotiate with teams using deep knowledge of quality assurance
・Foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
・Continuity improvement of the embedded software quality by assessment and audit from the tool qualification perspectives
