Arene’s mission is to empower Toyota and its partners to deliver next-generation vehicles with hardware-agnostic software that can be updated to support new features at any time.

The Global Execution Excellence team ensures that quality is built into the product from the very beginning and strives to constantly improve the way we develop. The Arene Operations team is taking care of a wider range of topics from operations such as procurement, asset management, location management, garage operations to IT liaison and information security processes, as well as Arene-internal communications and coordination of people development programs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a servant leader who is passionate about the Toyota values of people and process orientation and continuous improvement and who will run a team of highly motivated members to drive operations for the Arene Line of Business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define team strategy, derive key results based on Arene objectives and lead their execution
  • Act as leadership figure by engaging people and caring for them, ensuring people have what they need to be successful
  • Collaborate with corporate functions to define and continuously improve business processes, such as procurement and contract management, asset management, location and office space management, garage operations, etc.
  • Drive alignment across global offices and ensure that processes are applied systematically
  • Manage collaboration with IT (EnTech) to ensure the Arene team has the right infrastructure for developing and providing world-class products and services
  • Drive information security processes and confidentiality management for the Arene organization. Ensure continuous housekeeping for successful knowledge management.
  • Manage Arene internal communications and people development programs, such as onboarding, mentoring or competency assessment programs to ensure the Arene members have the right competencies, access to information and support to perform
  • Ensure that Arene leadership has the required visibility on the health of operations via well-designed, up-to-date dashboards



  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analysis, Information Technology or a related field
  • Min. 5 years experience in people management
  • Min. 5 years experience working in global organizations
  • Min. 5 years of experience in project management
  • Proven ability to build proposals from scratch and move a project forward to high quality completion
  • Proven experience in process optimization
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written Japanese and English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity



  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience in Procurement or Finance
  • Experience in managing workplace operations
  • Experience as Information Security Officer
  • Experience in establishing processes and managing safety in vehicle workshops
  • Knowledge of the Toyota Production System and the Toyota Way
