WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a project manager who is not afraid of defining programs from scratch. They should be excited about shaping talent development and driving a culture of innovation, quality and safety in the new field of engineering for software-defined vehicles.



RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In collaboration with Talent Acquisition, set up and run a program for recruiting Japanese newgrads and early-career professionals, creating the narrative for Arene’s unique selling points and establishing collaborations with Japanese universities to promote Arene
  • Manage and continuously improve the competency assessment process for Arene, leveraging the tools and data provided by the Woven Dojo team
  • Work with engineering management and HR to develop a technical onboarding, mentoring and rotation programs for engineers which systematically teaches software engineering skills for developing safety-critical applications
  • Leverage insights and data from HR regarding well being, as well as proposals from members to propose activities promoting a positive work environment and improve employee engagement
  • Drive activities to shape the unique Arene culture which is influenced by the Toyota You-perspective, a quality-first mindset, agile values and the blend of Japanese and foreign cultures



  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Psychology, Education, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of experience in project management
  • Min. 3 years of experience in defining or running technical training programs or in an HR or Talent Acquisition-related role
  • Min. 3 years experience working in global organizations
  • Proven ability to build proposals from scratch and move a project forward to high quality completion
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written Japanese and English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity



  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience in working with universities or research institutions
  • Study experience in a Japanese university
  • Knowledge of Software Engineering and agile methodologies
  • Work experience in the software industry
