TEAM
Our team protects critical systems, builds solutions, implements software and hardware, provides training, and shapes IT strategy.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You are a Systems Administrator with experience in global operations, and will lead a team responsible for managing L2 support cases, maintaining critical infrastructure, and implementing IT solutions. You have a background in cross-team collaboration. Reporting to the IT Ops Systems Manager in Japan, you will lead the team to create real-world solutions in a global market.



RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the team in performing administration tasks (e.g., Entra ID/AAD and GWS user/group/platform management, security permissions, group policies, print services); oversee the maintenance/transformation of platforms and ensure that system architecture components integrate
  • Oversee proactive system monitoring, guide the building, testing, and maintenance of new systems to ensure reliability
  • Ensure internal infrastructure requirements are met, including the management of computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks, while supporting security updates and all network segments
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts with the L1 Helpdesk and other teams to identify causes and provide technical guidance
  • Oversee routine audits of systems, including backups, and lead transformation projects
  • Come to the office 3x/week observing our hybrid work policy


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
  • Experience in IT leadership, including application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS)
  • Experience of common operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux), with the ability to perform troubleshooting and deep analysis
  • Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems; create volumes and assign them to servers; and remote replication
  • Experience creating SOP documents, runbooks, guides, and technical system/flow documentation


  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Fluency in Japanese
  • Business-level English proficiency
  • Experience in Linux systems administration
  • Coding experience (Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script, etc.)
  • Experience administering ServiceNow
