TEAM
The mission of the Woven Productivity and Network Engineering team is to increase productivity and accelerate delivery of software and services for both Woven by Toyota and the larger Toyota organization as a whole. We do this by building and integrating best of breed cutting-edge technologies to help engineering teams go faster, safer. By providing modern, agile and transparent services to our customers, we aim to realize Woven by Toyota’s vision of ”Mobility to Love, Safety to Live”.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a technical leader with deep firewall and network expertise and the ability collaborate with our team of engineers as they build leading-edge enterprise, cloud, and datacenter networks. You bring a background in designing, building, and operating complex global networks in a multi-vendor environment. You are passionate about automation, speed, reliability, scalability, security and the impact your team can have on the business through modern networking infrastructure.



RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the design, development, documentation, implementation, automation, monitoring and operation of enterprise, datacenter, and cloud networks.
  • Be a technical expert in a specific process or product area, preferably firewall, conducting process reviews and initiating change to contribute to continuous improvement of services to internal customers
  • Work with network and firewall hardware and software vendors to find high value solutions
  • Respond to complex issues ensuring that all problems are worked on until the issue is resolved. Conduct post-mortems capturing insights and actions.
  • Work closely with the Security team to improve the infrastructure security
  • Collaborate with other network engineers in your area of expertise
  • You can come to the office 3 days a week and report to the Network Infrastructure Manager


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years designing, deploying, and maintaining networks and Palo Alto Network firewalls
  • Speak business-level Japanese and English to communicate with our partner company
  • Experience using Cisco enterprise products including WLC, DNA Center/Catalyst Control Center, and ISE
  • Network experience in a large enterprise with 1000+ employees
  • PCNSA Certification


  • NICE TO HAVES
  • PCNSE Certification
  • CCNP or CCIE and/or other expert-level certifications
  • Experience with supporting Global Protect and Panorama
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure for identity management
  • Experience with Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, SAML IdP
  • Experience with SD-Access fabrics
  • Implement and tune network and systems security in a complex multi-site environment, including network segmentation
  • Operational knowledge of DNS, DHCP and IPAM management through Infoblox
